My sister and I were driving to Modesto and we kept seeing these beautiful trees! It was a beautiful day so we decided to stop and take some pictures. A total impromptu photo shoot! Those are always the best...

I have been needing to update my websites for a while now! Finally, I am sitting down and working on it. I can't decide if I want to completely change it, look and all, or If I just want to change the pictures. We'll see. I have some decisions to make!

Today I was soooo lazy! I went to work out last night for the first time since I had gotten sick a week ago. It pretty much kicked my butt! So, I stayed in bed and rested today and it felt great.

I am starting to feel better. Yay!
Today the sun was out and I was able to open the patio door and let in some nice, fresh air. I also went out to lunch with my grandpa! I was also lucky enough to be able to rest some more this afternoon.
To make sure I'm getting plenty of Vitamin C, I ate a few of these deliciously sweet Satsuma mandarins! Yummmm! (I was also having fun playing around with my old lens :)
Other than my cough, I am feeling pretty good! I'm keeping my fingers crossed that by staying in tonight, I will wake up tomorrow feeling as good as new!

I think being out in the rain shooting yesterday made me sick! That and everyone I have been around in the past three weeks has been sick. Thanks everyone! Just kidding. It was just my "turn" to catch it, I guess.
Scott and I went to the Apple Store tonight to listen to a friend and old classmate, Eva Kolenko, talk about her photography. Sadly, I was feeling so awful that half way through we had to get up and leave. Boo...
At least we were able to hear a bit of what she had to say, and see some of her amazing images. I was also able to click a picture while we were walking across the street.

Scott and I had the morning open for whatever we wanted to do. That NEVER happens! haha Actually, one of my New Year's Resolutions was to try not to jam pack our schedule anymore. I am so guilty of cramming 10 things in one day! What can I say? There's just always something going on...
Scott and I walked to Brickhouse Cafe for brunch. On our way there, I clicked a few pictures of this guy walking in front of us with a...ummmm...tail hanging out of his pocket. It's a key chain, but I thought it was pretty funny and since moving to San Francisco some time ago it totally didn't surprise me when I saw it! I just thought it was funny.

We took a picture of each other while waiting for our food. We took a lot, but I only picked two to put on display. hehe

We went to see a movie after brunch. We saw Shutter Island. Wow! We both loved it! Another movie that was pretty long but totally worth it.
After that, Scott went to his brothers for the night and I went to babysit my favorite little lady, Aya! She's sitting up now! How exciting!

We enjoyed Happy Hour, went to dinner and then to see a chick flick, Valentine's Day. The movie was pretty good! A little long, but overall a decent chick flick.
I took BART back to the city...fun fun!

Food post!! Get excited!!
Tonight Scott and I both made homemade pizza and WOW were they good!!!!!!!!
Here is what we wanted on our pizza...

-zucchini
-eggplant
-garlic
-red peppers
-spinach
-pesto basil
-mushrooms
-motzzarella cheese (not pictures)
After you chop up all the veggies, it's time to prepare the whole wheat Naan. We put a little olive oil on each side and stuck it in the oven on bake at 350 for about 5 minutes. This is just to brown the Naan and make it a little crunchy.
Then, add everything! As much or little as you want. And stick back in the oven for another 5-8 minutes just to the cheese and warm everything up.
Remove from the oven and serve warm! Holy cow is this delish! And healthy too! :)

I actually had two Valentine's this year! :)

My grandpa and Scott! I couldn't be any more happy!
Scott and I decided we wanted to take my grandpa out to lunch on Valentine's Day. It would have also been my grandpa's 65th wedding anniversary! We went to one of his favorite restaurants and had a wonderful time with him! He was sooooo happy we were there with him!
Scott and I usually have a tradition of staying home and having dinner on Valentine's Day. Our dinner is the same every year, Kraft Mac n Cheese with hotdogs and a bottle of some of our favorite wine! This year, however, we decided to meet up with my mom and Dan and have drinks with them, and then dinner in Danville at a Chinese restaurant.
It was such a fun day spending it with people I love the most! I hope everyone had a wonderful Valentine's Day!

It's hard to believe that it's 64 degrees in San Francisco when just about every where else in the United States is getting hit with major snow and ice storms! I know I complain a lot, but I guess it's not THAT bad. It's just that I'm a typical Cali Girl! If it drops below 60 then I am freezing. And, tons of rain? Yuck! Snow? You're crazy! Unless it's a quick trip to Tahoe for some snowboarding, of course!

You know two more things San Francisco has? Fog and traffic! Here we were sitting on the freeway trying to get on the Bay Bridge on this beautiful Saturday afternoon. Even thought there is fog, it's still nice out though! Plus, the fog was only over the bay so once we got into the city, it was sunny again! It only took us about 45 minutes! Notice how on the other side going East there is NO traffic?!!
The sun was getting ready to set and it was such a beautiful evening! Scott and I decided to walk down the street and get some ice cream. Apparently, everyone else had the same idea because there was a line out the door! It was totally worth the wait and great to see everyone out enjoying the nice weather!

You got it! It's my mom's birthday today. She turned...just kidding, I'll keep that a secret just in case she doesn't want everyone to know! :)
I was able to hang out with her this afternoon. We had a great time! She has been wanting me to check out her new gym, Crunch Fitness in Blackhawk Plaza. So, off we went! I ran for 40 minutes while she walked up a "hill" and then did her weights. It was fun working out with my mom!
After that we went back to her house and hung out for an hour chit-chatting. Dan was taking her to dinner so I left when they did.

I'm excited to announce that I am now the photographer for Frog Hollow Farm in Brentwood!
Today I visited the farm for the first time just to look around and meet everyone. I did get to click a few pictures. Even though it's winter, I still think the farm is beautiful!
